Montreal-West is a close-knit community of families on the southwest side of Montreal. Nicknamed The Garden Suburb, Montreal-West has many traditions such as a Canada Day parade, an annual charity football game called The Garbage Bowl and a La Fete Nationale du Quebec picnic and concert. Residents can enjoy the shops of Westminster Street and a number of parks and public spaces. Montreal-West is home to Quebec’s highest rated English speaking public high school, Royal West Academy.
